From October 2023 to July 2024, David Simonetta was an artist-in-residence at the Cité Culturelle, within the Barthélemy Durand Public Psychiatric Health Institution in Étampes. Each week, he painted portraits of patients in a studio set up inside the hospital itself. A total of forty portraits on wooden panels were presented on site at the end of the residency, for the exhibition TÊTE À TÊTE, in October 2024.
